Maple.

Milkweed seeds, escaping their pods, ready to fly off into the wider world.

Did you see this, on the pod at right, above?  I didn't, until I got it up "on the big screen."

It looks like a grasshopper, but I've never seen one with red before....

I'm probably never choosing a black and white image over one with *color*, but I rather like this one, which has had the Photoshop Elements "chalk and charcoal" filter applied.  I like the way the values go from black to white, and I like the composition.

Gold on the sidewalk.

Silver maple leaves.  They are more narrow and spiky than other kinds of maple.

My daughter found this one.  Not sure what it is.  Love the color, and the zigzags!

Gingko.  We have several mature gingko trees in our neighborhood.
