On the 29th, I had my eye check-up. When I was waiting for my eyes to dilate, I wandered to the end of the hall, and was entranced by the ivy on the side of the old dental-school building. Love the colors, love the way it wanders across the windows.....
The doc told me my eyes are fine. Yay. I've been seeing him for my eye care for a long time. Thirty years, I bet. We know the names and occupations of each other's children....
Now I'm on ground level, still looking at the old dental school.
The Michigan League is across the street from Health Service. This amazing tree is in a little courtyard outside the League. The gate to the courtyard from the public sidewalk used to be locked. This is the first time I've been in that courtyard.
On the way home. We've looked at Burton Tower any number of times. The older of the University's two carillons is behind the clocks.
The University has wonderful plantings. So much care is taken, in the design phase, and now, in the maintenance phase....
It was a gorgeous day.
Look at the clouds going westward and ever more westward..... Rackham at lower left (home of the graduate school programs).
Burton Tower, with the modern languages building, lower right. And the sun.
This used to be a street, when I was a kid, but now it's all pedestrian. Rackham is behind us. We're looking across the Diag at the graduate library.
Same scene as above, not zoomed.
This may be my favorite pic I've taken in a long time! A gorgeous day, a lovely campus, a good exposure.....
Walking on home. Zelkova.
Oaks and maples.
Maple.
Oak.
The day's collection.
