Breakfast at Zingerman's Next Door (baked goods from Zingerman's Bakehouse).
We had never tried the ham and cheese croissant. It was really good.
Really good ham, really good cheese, surrounded by all of these layers of flakiness...... Mmmmmmmm........
One of my all-time faves -- this is mandelbrot (almond bread). They are like biscotti -- double-baked. Crisp, light, studded with almonds. As Guy Fierri might say -- the hint of citrus makes this. Lifts it to another level, from "very good" to "all-time fave"........ Delicious.

Hooray for grocery-store flowers! COLOR. Yes. In my mind the yellow makes this.
