The 1st was the day we felt the brunt of winter storm Linus. This shot, and the next, were taken at about 10:40 am.
I think the sidewalk (which has been blown off by a kind neighbor) is just visible as a stripe from left to right, behind the tree, near the top.
The video and the last two shots were take just after 3:00. The snow is falling right down. Or rather, is falling heavily, and blowing sideways.
Stumps (do we call them stumps, when they are 15' tall?) remaining of the old trees which were dismantled last week.
We shoveled twice on the 1st. Once before lunch, and once in the late afternoon. I was kinda hoping they were lying about how much snow we'd get, and we wouldn't have to shovel on the 2nd. Vain hope..........

I never knew the storm had a name. When did they start naming winter snow storms? Linus. I thought you might have a new dog (wondered why you were taking a break from Linus!)
You must not watch The Weather Channel. :-)
Maybe just they name the storms, and no one else knows or cares?
I am sure they were doing it last year, too, and maybe the year before, but not much before that, if any.
