April 1 -- evening

.

Walking to yoga through West Park.

Fishy, fishy, fishy..........  The goldfish are a bit bigger each year.  These may be averaging about 6" long.

Last year's crab apples.

Crocus in front of the yoga studio.

Later.

Walking home after class.

Wow, eh?

There was a little ice on the pond, on April 1.  Mostly underneath and south of the bridge over the pond.  The land rises up considerably, just south of the pond, so that's a very shady area.

Fishy ripples on the pond.

It must have been very still, aloft.  Jet trails linger, going every which way.

It's hard to get a good look at the fish........

I copied the pic, and did a hard mix of the two copies, which resulted in this.  I like the abstraction.....

I think this is the first time I've posted an image with so much white near the edges.  I felt I had to go back and put a black line around it, so we could see where the picture ends and the background begins.

Here's a closer crop of my favorite part of the above.  Ripples, and fish.  It seems like these fish would be easy to paint......  One stroke each, if you had the right shape of brush...........

Fishy video.

One last look at the reflections on the surface of the pond.
