June 3

.

Going to early morning yoga at about 7:30 am.

I was hoping to be able to show all the dew in the grass........

I guess I have to use a really close crop to be able to show all the water droplets........

After class.  Peonies in front of the yoga studio.

It was about 9:30 am -- the peonies were still wet.

The Japanese maple on Chapin is just as amazing as it was two weeks ago.

Hostas.

I didn't get any pics of the ducklets.  They are not babies any more.  Kid ducks, now.  Longer, leaner.  Not round and fluffy any more.  I counted 11.  They were hard to count.  Much more mobile, swimming, swimming, swimming..........

Thousands and thousands of tadpoles in the pond at West Park. They are busy, busy.  Eating.  Growing.

They are getting fatter.  I think they are getting bulges where their baby froggy legs are developing.

Looking west over a clover-covered sward.

A closer look, from closer to the clover's level.  Note a dandelion, and some purple clover, mixed in with the white clover.

Trandescantia.

Up close.

Iris.  That really nice purple iris with the dark purple and white stripes on the falls........

Looking straight down at one of the flowers.

The iris were shaded by a house, but the street wasn't.  You can see the edge of the shadow in the upper left corner.  You can see the trandescantia near the upper left corner, some yellow and brown iris, and there is a lot of red/yellow columbine in this bed, too, that's harder to see.

Looking at tulip tree flowers from my upstairs window.  Sunny.

Not so sunny -- when a cloud covered the sun for a moment.
