Me, too. :-) Have you seen the PBS special on beavers?

They have a HUGE positive effect on the landscape. In one part of the program they showed beavers in the desert. They were able to create oases where there had been nothing but sand. You have to fence the cattle away from the streams, but the beavers can create paradise in the midst of desert, if left to do their job of keeping the water in place, rather than letting it all go on downstream............. So important for other wildlife of all kinds...............
