December 25

.

Merry Christmas!

One of the Christmas miracles.  Every year I make these rise-overnight sticky cinnamon rolls, and every year it seems that the skinny pathetic rolls can't possibly get fat and sassy overnight, but every year they do.  They rise overnight in the fridge, and look like this in the morning, just before they go into the oven...........

I was going to take a pic, I surely was, but....  We ATE them.  They were beautiful, and they were delicious.........................

We left off present-opening to go visit Granddad.

He lives over an hour from us.

Luckily the 25th was a gorgeous-sky kind of day.  All day, every time you looked, the sky was amazing.

It was a good day to take a road trip -- we got to see a lot of wonderful sky.

Late afternoon.  Filling the car's tummy before we drove home.

Wow, eh?

That peachy horizon.......

Peachy and purple-y........

Those pink wisps going off to the left, just above the trees..............

How I love your sweet tree and your sticky buns look like they would have been to die for. I keep thinking I have to make these someday. Oh, yum!

I need orange said...

Thanks.

Those are good sticky buns...... :-)

I love this refrigerator-rise recipe. I can make them the night before, leave them in the fridge overnight, and then just stick them in the oven in the morning.

That way we get something special for breakfast, without doing any work in the morning.

We have to have two pans -- one without, and one WITH pecans, as some members of my family do not like nuts.
