No sooner do I get caught up on blogging than something happens and I get behind again.
February 14 dawned cold and frosty. (It takes a long time to process frost pics, because I take a million, hoping to get some good ones.)
The pinkish-yellow cloud, below, is steam from the University's power plant, about 1.5 miles away.
Sunrise, and frost.
A whole flock of golden frost birds.
My Denver rhino, looking at frost.
Long skinny frost spikes.
Closer. Look at that thing in the upper right........... Cross-hatching, with dangly feet?
Two large frost birds (upper left), above a frosty landscape.
Blue sky........
Rhino again. I wanted to capture the sparkles, but the camera focused on the trees. I kinda like the sparkles-as-bokeh.......
Rhino and frost.
Closer.
We walked downtown despite the frost, and enjoyed breakfast at Zingerman's Next Door.
This next pic was taken by the phone (all of the above by the silver camera). The phone does a better job with these lovely lemon meringue tarts. Less yellow (from the lighting), and nice and sharp, despite the display case glass between us and the tarts.
