One of my friends has a litter of tiny baby flat-coated retrievers at her house. They were born on February 19, so they were exactly 2 weeks old on March 3.
I babysat them, the morning of the 3rd, so my friend could go to yoga.
Taking pictures of black dogs is not easy......................
This is an overhead shot of me, sitting crosslegged, snuggling one of the boys (his purple rick-rack distinguishes him from his nearly identical brothers, who are wearing other colors of rick-rack).
His bum is in my hand. His nose is in the crook of my elbow. You can see his right ear on my sleeve, and his left front leg on my jacket zipper, with paw tucked under.
I've lightened this one up. A lot. So you could sort of see.
Here he is again.

So little. So soft................................
