Research by Dr. Patrick Carter, assistant professor of
emergency medicine at the University of Michigan, shows that after Michigan repealed its helmet law,
motorcycle riders who crashed were 24 percent less likely to be wearing a
helmet and 14 percent more likely to suffer a head injury.
And may I add -- what a shock. NOT.
Now if only the rest of us weren't paying for their hospitalization, rehab, etc................
