January 12

.

In times of great stress or adversity, it's always best to keep busy, to plow your anger and your energy into something positive.  -- Lee Iacocca

When we walked on January 12, it was right around freezing.  The pavement was wet but not slick.

There was ice on all the plants.  Twigs, berries.....

Fallen paper-wasp nest on the sidewalk.

I've seen the flat honey-comb look before, but don't remember these rounded ends on the honey-comb cells.

I was trying to catch the frozen drips, drips, drips on this hedge, but didn't succeed very well.

This is a closer look at this mostly-in-focus twig.  With ice.

The next two are closeups of the prev.  Lower left corner.

Middle top.
