Fig buttercup. This is invasive, and harmful to livestock. I hate when the pretty ones are bad and invasive. But it's in someone else's yard, so I don't have to dig it up. (And there are no livestock in my neighborhood. Don't know if it's harmful to dogs or cats....)
This fig buttercup is very low growing . The blue quill in the next image is 8" or less, and it towers over the yellow....
