July 14, 2017

.

Tomato harvest, July 14, 2017.

I was very pleased to find that the sodden half-eaten yellow day lily we looked at before was not going to be the only yellow one I got.  Here's a drier and healthier one.  Yay.

Here's one of the last of the orange ones in our front yard.

Somebody else's day lily, against a strangely blue background.

A house at the end of our mile walking loop has a bunch of fancy hybrid daylilies.  The previous one, this one, and the next two are all in their yard.

Yet another day lily.

This tall skinny plant is a cup plant.

This is the bottom of a cup plant.  The leaves are really big.  More than two feet long.

The flower stems of a cup plant are really long.  The plant is well over 6' tall.

The flowers aren't very big, for such a big plant.  Sort of "regular flower size".....  Less than 4" across.

Day lily.

Coneflowers.
