Looking north from Fifth Avenue, by the post office. That sky..........................
Now I've crossed Fifth and am nearer the library. Can't take my eyes of that sky........

Big planter on one of the city parking lots. Full of petunias. Be sure to note small plants in pavement crack.
This is so bright you can't really tell, but these little guys are petunias as well. Volunteers from last year's planter occupants, I bet. I can sort of make out the left side shape of the white flower on the plant nearer the top of the next image.
The sky was still excellent later. Looking northeast over West Park..........
Coltsfoot trefoil in the park. It's really this yellow/gold. It's little, but it's visible.
