Goodness. Black walnuts alllllll over the sidewalk. This is an obstacle course. The walnut shells inside these green-turning-black hulls are HARD. Definite ankle-turners.
If this were my sidewalk, I'd be shoveling these up and getting rid of them (somewhere where squirrels could get to them), to avoid getting sued for having a hazardous sidewalk.
