Grocery-store peppers. I think these are the first striped peppers I'd ever seen.
Redbud leaves. Underside of the top one; top side of the underneath one.
Japanese maple. Daylight savings stopped right after Halloween. It gets dark early, in the middle of November. Too dark to take pics of leaves outdoors by the end of a late-afternoon walk.
So I bring them in and pose them on a sheet of paper.............
I don't remember seeing such red seeds before.
