In early spring it is common to see maple trees dripping sap.

I don't remember ever seeing maple-sap icicles before March 4,2018.

Mother Nature's vignette near the ground.  Ice, leaves, incipient maple flowers. The sunset pics are exposed for the sky, so they make the ground look too dark.  This is the way the ground looked, "amount of light" wise.
