.

I don't do much sewing these days, but I do still do some mending.  Ripped out jacket pocket.

This coat is a darkish olive green.  Why the phone camera decided to make it look light tan I do not know.

Winter night in Tree Town.

Good on you, fixing the pocket. I'm bad with that! Weird about camera colors, isn't it?

I have enough space to leave the sewing machine set up, so the most time-consuming part of mending is finding the right thread, figuring out how to fill a bobbin, and rethreading the machine. This is not the machine I used when I was doing more sewing, but it is a Japanese machine and has little diagrams all over it. Nothing to look up -- the info is all printed right on the machine! Excellent design....

:-)

And -- that pic turning the olive to tan is the most egregious example of the camera mucking up the color I've ever had, I think. I'm used to taking three shots in a row that are the same (working on getting a sharp one). And I'm used to the color being a bit different in each one, as well as the exposure and the focus. But this was extreme!
