Wisteria over the driveway. Encore performance.
The pond in West Park, full of vegetation. I am seeing more turtles this year than ever before. There is a small one sunning itself on a piece of wood in this pic.
Here it is.
Its shell was probably about 3" from front to back. This is the smallest one I've ever seen in the park, I think.
The next pic was taken last spring. A new-to-the-neighborhood baby nectarine tree's pretty pink flowers.
I was astonished to see that the baby tree grew at least six nectarines this year! Go, baby, go!
Rose of Sharon.
Jewelweed.
Jewelweed has orchid-y looking flowers......
Ironweed in the park.
Closer.
Closer.
Ironweed with almost-ready-to-bloom goldenrod.
I think this is heliopsis.
Slanting sidewalk with walnut-hull stains. And walnut leaves.
