Now, this is encouraging!

I've been on the University of Michigan campus for the better part of five decades, and I believe this is the first time I've ever seen any attempt by the powers that be to get the kids to register and VOTE.

Copies of this banner were all along the corridor leading to the room where we got our flu shots yesterday.  (This corridor connects the student commons -- food -- with the North Campus library.  I bet it gets a LOT of traffic every day.)

What a great plan -- get all of the hundreds of thousands of students at Big 10 schools registered, and encourage them to VOTE.

Go BLUE, and go "Big 10"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
