Doubling down — #postcardstovoters before going out for our Saturday errands.  πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊 πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Volunteer petunia.  Never surrender!

Maple.

Zinnias in the beautiful garden at the other end of my old block.

Impatiens.

Autumn "crocus."  (Looks like crocus; is not crocus.)

Zinnias in another garden on the way to the farmers' market.

These little guys were so cute and round....  Just wish they didn't have blue tape on them....

It's pepper time!

Leeks.

Zingerman's Bakehouse carrot cake.  Mmmmmmmmmmm................

Someone bought a property near the farmers' market and whacked all the trees.  :-(  This was a nice big serviceberry.

This is just to the lower right of the above.

Spirea.  I don't know if the pale leaves are genetic or environmental.  Or both.  Those white leaves aren't going to be producing much food for the plant, with no chlorophyll......

Wire bear, on luggage rack.

Peppers getting ready to become lecsΓ³ -- Hungarian pepper stew.  Mmmmmm........
