Judge Jill wins in Wisconsin!

.

I wrote a bunch of PostcardsToVoters postcards to voters in Wisconsin, urging them to vote for Judge Jill Karofsky for Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Yesterday evening we got the excellent news that she won!

I take personal responsibility for this win ;-) as should each of us who wrote, donated, and, most especially, VOTED.

(Noting that many hurdles were in place between Wisconsin voters and the ballot box, not least of which was COVID-19.)

Like water dripping on stone, everything each of us does to make things better MAKES A DIFFERENCE.  Whether we ever know exactly how much difference or not.

I am sure that every PostcardsToVoters card I write contributes drops of influence.  The voter sees it.  The voter’s family members may see it.  The voter’s mail carrier sees it.  MY mail carrier sees it.  The candidate is encouraged.  It’s easier for candidates to recruit local-to-them help when people all over the country are taking an interest in their campaign and rooting them on.

Drip.  Drip.  Drip.  Drip.  Drop by drop, wearing down the stone…...

And this is the cherry on top — celebrating the win of another of MY candidates!!!!!!!!

I believe PostcardsToVoters wrote over a quarter of a million cards for Jill. It feels great to be a part of those big numbers!

We are supporting OUR post office as we encourage people to vote for better representation.

Jill Karofsky, CHECK.

On to writing to encourage voters in Florida to sign up to get their ballots in the mail!

Write ON!

ps -- we are always glad to have more people write friendly postcards to voters, to encourage people to vote!  Visit PostardsToVoters.org if you'd like to join us.  :-)
