I walked down Michigan Avenue a ways, looking at the buildings.....
South of Millenium Park I headed east to walk along the harbor. Looking north, we can see the amphitheatre in Millenium Park that I talked about yesterday. Looking south, we see a river of alyssum.
There is a long bike/jogging path beside the harbor. It was mostly shady and pleasant at about 9:45 am. The day was humid, but not too hot -- mid 80s.
Daylilies on "the museum campus" -- Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Planetarium.
Looking back north from the Field Museum. Sears Tower is the tallest building. The brick one aparently under it is the hotel where we stayed the last time. You can see it was a hazy day.
Standing at the same place, and zooming in, we can see my favorite Carbon and Carbide building in the distance.
