Another actual hard-copy atc! I did a bunch more packing-tape transfers yesterday. For this image, I cut out the spoon and laid it on a recipe before applying the tape. I soaked and rubbed off the paper, as usual. Today I looked for a food pic that might go with the spoon+text I had..... The tape with the spoon and text was glued on the pie, and then the two of them, together, were glued on cardstock.

Why thank you, ma'am. Yes, I like experimenting. Trying new things, figuring out new hoops to make Photoshop Elements jump through.... (though sometimes I feel more like I am the one doing the jumping -- just identifying which hoops I want to jump through, of all the dozens and hundreds it offers is a big assignment!)
Yes, I agree, you'd better work on the pics. :-) During your writing breaks!
I understand completely about trying to stay focused with so many different interesting things to do, look at, play with, think about, try.......
Thank you for the kind words about my transfers. I haven't used anything before (well, anything in tangible media!) that makes use of transparency. I'm liking that about these images. I have a couple of lovebirds that were in a cheaper-quality magazine, and even the birds themselves are sorta transparent (that is definitely not true of the transfers from better magazines -- those are basically opaque except where they are white)........ So far I have not figured out what I want to do with them.
I know I see more with my camera than without -- for one thing, it has a major zoom (12x optical). So it's almost like having a telescope as well as a camera. :-)
On the knitting front, I have socks-in-progress. THey are Sockotta (mottled blue/white), and I'm putting in embroidery floss stripes. I confess, though, that I haven't touched them since I blogged 'em the day the Harlot was here (July 30). I think she brought the heat with her from Oklahoma and Arizona, and it was way too hot to touch knitting for a while...... Not sure why I haven't picked 'em up since. Partly because of this ATC a day thing, which eats up my evenings!
I'll just have to try one of your books and see. :-)
You have a fine day, too, and likewise, thanks for stopping in and for commenting!
