another trip

As you may have guessed from my recent patchy presence, we were out of town. I had a set of posts ready to put up, but our connectivity in the last couple of days left much to be desired. Would *you* rather your hotel room have internet service, or a second tv, a dishwasher and a garbage disposal???

Anyway. Aside from that annoyance, and some not-very-pleasant rainy nighttime driving in LOTS of traffic, we had a perfectly lovely time.

Here is where we began our stay in the east.






















We had a wonderful evening with one of my college friends, who offered us their very comfortable guest room that night. Thanks, guys!

The next day, we headed out to see our daughter swim for her college team.

















We returned her to her campus, visited and explored her new place a bit, and then headed for Ocean City. We spent that night part-way there, and then went on. In the day time, we discovered it was a lovely drive.
