Sometimes you can find peppermint stick at the grocery, sometimes you have to improvise.



Food styling is often more trouble than I expect. First, I had to take more ice cream than I really wanted, so it wasn't just a dab in the bottom of the dish. (Feeling sorry for me already, aren't you??) Then, every *single* piece of peppermint hit the ice cream red-side-down. I had to place the bits one by one, as I wanted the red to show......
