Wilbur-mometer

Wilbur spent the first year of his life living wild and free (and wet and cold and hungry). We speculate that he feels he has already spent far too much time being uncomfortable -- he is a major connoisseur of the soft and warm place to nap.

You can tell the temperature by his position.

What you see here indicates mid-60s (F).

The warmer it gets, the more toes are exposed, and when it's really hot, he's belly-up. The colder it gets, the more tightly he is curled, and when it's really cold he's always curled in the corner of the couch. He's the only dog we've had who really likes to be covered with a blanket.
