Thanks! I just wrote a long comment, which blogger ate. Argh.

Ok, trying again.

I'm finding that taking decent pics from an airplane is not easy to do. Too hazy. The camera has more trouble focusing, and then the haze just makes everything more blurry.........

The more contrast, the better. The snowy pics worked better than most, because of the high contrast.

Getting close to the ground offered new opportunity (being able to see the trees & shadows) and more problems (moving faster, relative to the stationary objects I was trying to get into the viewfinder and then focus on)....

I don't fly all that often, so to get a snowy day, with at least *some* sun, late in the day for those long shadows...... I'm grateful that I got some interesting images out of the deal.
