Blogger has been telling me for a long time that I can move to the new version.
I think the "encouragement" is getting ramped up.
So just in case I disappear, or you start getting told that my old posts are as new, you'll know that I'm wrestling with the new blogger.............

Happy Blogiversary! I moved to the new Blogger version a couple of weeks ago and so far so good. I haven't tried to do anything fancy with the template yet though. The actual move was easy and just took a few minutes, I did save my old Blog into my Documents file in case of accidents though. I still have problems leaving comments a lot of the time though.
I must stop constantly writing 'though' at the end of every sentence though!:):)

The actual move was painless, but I had read that people had problems (can't remember exactly what) if they didn't switch to a new template when they switched to the new blogger.
So I switched, and that was when I lost my sidebar, banner, and hit counter.
Actually, I'm not sure I *did* "switch" -- the new list had my same one in it. I suspect that it was an updated version, though -- it did look different, when I went in to edit.....
I am not sure that the new google hit counter I signed up for is working -- I should go look!
Otherwise, I think I'm recovered back to where I was before the switch.
I do like being able to tag my posts!
