twig, close up

After I posted this twig yesterday, I went back and took some close ups.....






















I also took some pics out the window. Even cropped down to try to avoid too much in the way of branches, trees, branches, this is still messier than I want.

Sigh.

I love the bare spare shapes of winter twigs.

I'm learning that my esthetic is very spare. Which is odd, since my surroundings are so chaotic -- perhaps this is a sign that I should clean up the mess..... Or maybe it's just a counter-reaction to my surroundings.....
