amaryllis
I am very lucky to have a fabulous windowsill in my office. It is very deep, and has a north-westerly exposure.
Just now my office plants are amazing.
This amaryllis has lived on this windowsill for three blooming seaons now.
Don't you think the image benefits from my slovenly gardening? Those curvy dried-up leaves at the bottom?

Oh I love this! It reminds me that SOME day spring will bloom finally!
Thanks! This amaryllis was just small buds last week. I was home with a cold a few days, and was so pleased to see it so big and healthy this week.
We used to have offices in a windowless basement. I am grateful for this huge window every day!
