more yellow

This forsythia is blooming beautifully across the street from my office. It is in front of a student-ghetto-ish apartment, so the long view is not attractive....

The close-ups, though..........

























I've never noticed those reddish streaks in the throats of forsythia blooms. I didn't notice them when I was taking the pics, either. Only on the "big screen" did I see them......
