During the end of April and the beginning of May, the flowering crabapples were loaded with petals.
The next week, the petals were on the ground.
Luckily, there are other things to look at.
I'm really enjoying the translucency of different plant bits.
I don't know if they were thinking of their Japanese maple when they chose their door color, but it seems likely, doesn't it?
Tulips bloom at slightly different times -- this must be a later variety.
This horse chestnut tree is on the lawn in front of my office building.
