"Swine" -- such a lovely word...........
The pigs at the fair, much smarter than humans woud be in the same situation, were napping rather than getting angrier and angrier about being confined in a boring place with nothing to do.
This individual is not a contortionist; those rear trotters belong to a buddy.
I'm amazed by the size of the ears on the babies. Baby corgis are born with tiny little flap-of-skin ears. Imagine if pig ears grew at the rate of corgi ears -- pigs would end up looking like elephants.........
The only thing we saw them get excited about was the drinks boy. Everyone was as eager as the horses had been. Pigs -- not so good at jumping, but some were trying to scramble over the fences and get to the water. Pigs -- very good at making noise, and they were letting *everyone* know that they really needed THEIR turn at the water!!!! NOW!!!!!

Look! Mini Caspers!
I hadn't thought, before I was working on this post, about the contrast between the size of babycorgi ears and babypig ears.
I think pigs are much more capable when they are born, so maybe they have just had more time to grow their ears before they are born....
:-)
Vic:
I love pigs but piglets even more. Makes me never want to eat bacon again. Cows and chickens and fish and buffalo - even lamb are pretty dumb. But pigs? They know. So sweet and nearly smiling. That's it. No more pork in Praterland.
I hear you, Cheryl.
I don't eat a lot of meat, and am finding it harder and harder to eat any. I enjoy the taste, but why should animals be killed for my pleasure? Ick.
