He has one incision about where you can see the seam in his tasteful tshirt sleeve "bandana" (you can see the seam just behind his right ear, the incision is at the top of his shoulder, sort of, on the side of his neck) and another in the very front of his neck, right at collar level.
Both are dry and look calm. Yay. Dr. Taryn called this afternoon to check on him, and to say that the report was back from the lab. The bump in front was a hemangioma, just as Dr. Jess had thought. (This is a growth of the blood vessels, but is benign.) The one on the side was a ... um ... well, I haven't seen the name written down, but it has "cyst" in it, and it, too, is nothing.
Yay.
He has been doing a little scratching -- not sure if it's because the tshirt sleeves (he's wearing two, so one can hang down a bit more in the front and the other a bit more on his right side) are hanging down and feel weird, or if the incision(s) itch(s)......
He's been vaccuuming up pills-in-canned-food and watered-down kibble.
Yay.
When he's sleeping, he's a bit harder to rouse than usual, but once he's up, he's ready for action. Like heading downstairs for DINNER, say!!!!!!!!! (Moments ago he was telling me that would be a far more productive thing for me to be doing than ... whatever it is I *am* doing. !!!)
He isn't doing any fussing. I did give him a tramadol this morning, and expect to give him another this evening, and then I'll see how he does tomorrow.... It may be time to start stopping it. So to speak.
Knock on wood (!!!), the news is all good from here.
The poor guy is very scraggly looking. Dogs aren't supposed to lose hair due to chemo, but he has less hair than he's ever had since I got him (at almost one year). Hardly any pants, hardly any ruff. I keep threatening to buy Wilbur a coat -- maybe Buzz needs one, too!

Buzz says, "I'm still so stinkin cute!"
Poor little Buzzer-bee - glad to hear all the news is good. T.
He does have a pretty face.....
I feel bad for him, too. It seems like every time he starts feeling better from the last thing, he gets hit again with something else!
Sigh.
About the time he's feeling all better from his surgery he'll be due for IV chemo again..........
Sigh.
Thanks for the good thoughts!
Oh my ... poor little guy.
He looks like a little hero in that photo. What a sweetheart!
Thanks. He says he feels MUCH better than he did last week!
