
It was cloudy at home, but we came out from under the edge of the overcast area fairly quickly.

You'd think that the orange barrels would have gone away with the frost, along with the other summertime growth along the roadside, but no.......

Luckily this little stretch was the only construction we encountered. (They were creating rumble strips along here.....)

You don't have to get very far south of Ann Arbor before the land gets flat. The glaciers in the last ice age scraped southern Michigan and northern Ohio very flat indeed.

Aren't the clouds cool? I wonder what causes the sort of pattern you can see at the bottom.......

Here you can see how flat it is, and also the leading edge of the clouds covering Ann Arbor, coming up behind us (along with some miscellaneous reflections on the glass, argh). I like the three isolated trees in this one.

You can tell when I take a turn at driving. The pics dry up.....
Ok, here we are at the swim meet. We arrived about noon, and Friday's prelims started at 10:00 am.
