We are bored by this.
Bored by gray and brown and more gray and brown.
Incipient green is nicer, but ... bored with things that will be interesting some day, but are not, really, intrinsically interesting at present.
Grateful for things that are green all year long, and this, for me, actually has some intrisic interest.....
Ok, let's get our color where we can. Start looking at man-made things and ignore brown, gray, gray, brown nature.
Downtown Home and Garden has several different bouquets of branches which, brought inside to the warmth of an indoor vase, have bloomed. Forsythia, with Zingerman's bread (photographed through the window from outside, which is why the bright shiny areas).
Can't ask for more color than these blue blue birds.....
Ok, here we go. There *are* things to look at that are interesting....
It is so important to keep slogging away, even it seems that there is nothing of interest to see. Sooner or later we'll get back in the groove of noticing those things that do rate a glance.......
This is shaped like a chipmunk, but the color is skunk. Chipskunk?
Not entirely sure why I like this -- I guess it's the vanishing perspective.
Ok. Now I'm with the program again. Ignoring the boring lack of color, focusing on the shapes, patterns........... There *is* something interesting to look at.......
