in the back yard

Generally speaking, I don't find much of interest in my back yard. Or at least not much that I can catch in the camera.

There have been lots of chickadees. This one was moving around so much I am surprised to have gotten a half-way decent shot.

The maple tree buds have been burgeoning. Who knew the outsides of the buds were fuzzy?

Color in the back yard. Socks and golf shirt. On the line, in the sun. My laundry area is shady in high summer, but not now.

Corgi dog, one day past vincristine. Doing ok. Not great, but ok.

Same bud as the second one above, later that same day (last Friday).

Bloodroot. One of the hardier survivors of my neglect.

Maple buds today, having exploded in green. Isn't it amazing that all of this was contained in those fuzzy buds just 40 hours ago?
