I got a ride to work yesterday morning. It was lightly overcast. I should have gotten out and walked. The light was even and soft -- much better for pics than in the afternoon, when it was clear, and the light was much harsher.
Ah well.
These will be more documentary, less artful than I hope for.
Magnolias in Ann Arbor are having a wonderful year. It seems that every tree is covered in bloom. I took closeups on my side of the street, and trees-with-houses on the other side, as I walked up Huron.

No magnolia, but isn't this a cool house? It is offices now.

This is surely one of the most spectacular magnolias in town.

I took a whole bunch of closeups of flowers yesterday, and only about two of them were sharp. Here's one.

I showed you this view on Monday, when Wilbur and I walked around the block. This magnolia was beginning then, and is in full bloom now. The trees are much more green now than they were on Monday.

I think that the white tree is a cherry, and the pink one barely on the left is, also.

My across-the-street neighbors' magnolia. Wow.
