I was thinking this was geranium, but then I saw some geranium in bloom, and I'm not sure the leaves are the same...........
UPDATE, June 3: This morning I noticed this plant is blooming, and it is a geranium.

Street tree, apparently doing well in this constricted location.
The owners of this building won a preservation award this year, for doing extensive work on its cornice.

I believe this is foxglove.

For some reason I thought foxglove flowers came in conical bunches, but both of these bunches of flowers are rather flat..............

Alium.

Amelanchier -- service berry.
Faded flowers.
No 'shopping. This is just what I would hope to be doing with depth of field adjustments.......... The little camera has much shallower depth of field when in macro mode, so I can use that to my advantage.....

Here come the berries. I had a service berry at my first house. The berries are sweet, seedy, and don't taste like much. They are blue when ripe. I wonder if they convey the same sort of benefits as blueberries.

Where the Y was, taken under the overhang in front of the library. On the left you can see the pink horse chestnuts I've been showing you. They are the two smaller trees peeking above the fence, in front of the gray house.
