Clover.

I think lindens are my favorite tree of all. They smell wonderful.

This one was buzzing with bees. The last tree I showed you which was covered with bees was mostly honey bees. This one had many different kinds of bees. I only saw a few honey bees amongst the bumblebees and sorta waspy looking critters.

Love the way the spent stamens are curling as well as darker...... And who knew that the base of the pistil was fuzzy? (as always, click on a pic to see a bigger version)

Here's our persimmon, leafed out at last.

Foxglove, backed up by a Japanese maple.

Rose. Liking the yellow glow at the base of the petals.

Urban strawberry.

Boxwood, I do believe.

I think this is Japanese tree lilac. The leaves look like lilacs, the flowers, to a cursory (no reading glasses!) glance appear to be lilacs..... This tree is fragrant, but not as strongly nor as delightfully so as "common lilacs."

Sky over West Park.

Baby blue, with pale yellow house.
