Some of the service berries are ripe enough to eat!
These are fairly new plants, enhancing a city parking lot. These berries have more flavor than those from the bush I had in the yard at my first house.
They can't compete with blueberries, but they have more taste than "sweet".......

Asiatic lily, at the same parking lot. Look at the anthers. It seems that they begin folded, and then open along their length and fold back to expose the pollen.
Pink clover. Weed, across William from the library. Liking the yellow dots in the bokeh.....
Linden tree -- spent flowers, fuzzy pistils.
More harsh shadows on my office windowsill. Narcissus leaf. Isn't it excellent the way these leaves twist as they dry?

blueberries are the only things I am missing here for a perfect array of summer food. I am sure I will eat a ton when I get back!!
I don't see any stars on the tower but my timing isn't very good with the lighting, I'll have to look later.
