
Red. Hmmm. Let's back up a bit and take another look at this. Red. Look in the lower right. Now *that* is some serious red!

Something else I've been noticing this year is that the air often smells distinctly good. Not just "rainy fresh green" good, but "flower perfume" good.
I was lucky enough to visit Hawaii, once, and the air smelled wonderful.
We've been getting hints of that, this year, and this is one reason why.
This locust tree has a branch that is right down at nose level. Mmmmm. Tropical, delicious, reminiscent of Hawaii...........

I walked slowly past, taking a hit off each of the flower clusters........
Mmmmmmm.
