my heart beats true for the red, white, and blue

.

Yesterday I saw red and white and blue. Yesterday I *wore* red, with my blue/white, which I never do. Yesterday was a bright and clear day, here in Michigan, and our election results are bright and clear.

We know we have elected a smart man. A man who chooses excellent people to surround him and advise him and help him. A man whose campaign the pundits are saying was the best-organized and best-run that this country has ever seen. Surely *surely* hoping that some of what he hopes to accomplish will come to pass.

This country can surely use some good management. For a change. Hallelujah.

Huxley and I both wore red, white, and blue to the office yesterday. We can now reclaim our colors and our flag.

Of course at one point he came back in to my office with a "Go McCain" note pinned to his stars-n-stripes bandana.

We'll see how they are all feeling today.

Amen to reclaiming our colors and our flag. Hallelujah.

I guess the answer to "Go McCain" is "Go where?" Back to Arizona? Or somewhere hotter and less pleasant?
