In summer time, when I come up after messing with laundry, I bring the clothes with me, and we go outside and hang them up.
In winter (having hung the clothes in the basement), I don't live up to my part of the bargain.
He's waiting for me to join him outside, which is why the ears are pointed back toward the door.
Well, nevermind, at least a guy can eat some snow.....
Ok, if you are *sure* you're not coming out, I'll come in.

How did you resist that face and not go out? :) Dogs and horses....I think they have a true appreciation of snow!!
Well, if he could move better, I would have thrown a frisbee for him.
As it is, I hate to challenge him by encouraging him to try to move fast in snow. I'm afraid he's going to hurt himself.
The last time I threw something for him outside was fall '07. We were already dealing with the leukemia, and he felt good enough to chase a ball, so we were out doing that. I heard him land with an "oof" and then he was three-legged and dripping blood.
With his compromised immune system (due to chemo) I thought maybe having an open wound on the foot was bad, so I took him to emergency (these things ALWAYS happen during emergency, don't you find?).
His toenail was broken way high up (inside the flesh). Because of the cancer she wanted to take xrays to see if the cancer was affecting his bones. So that was done, and bones ok. Whew.
But he had to have it cauterized way up in and that toenail never grew back.
So I decided to throw for him in the house, and have never left that position!
Especially since his rear is going....
When I think about all the things that have happened to him since fall '06 (hospitalized for unexplained-to-this-day vomiting and diarrhea), it is a long list!
I throw for him in the house, as much as he wants, but have been chicken to do so outside ever since the Toe Incident.
I can't resist that cutie Buzz guy! He's one of my favorite Pemmys :)
Aw, thanks, Emily. He does have a gorgeous face, doesn't he?
I sometimes think I should have named him for Rudolph Valentino, given how much eye makeup he has.....
