There are three red cars in this pic. (You can just see the tail end of the third, right behind the second, across the street.) All in their driveways, instead of on the street, so the snowplows will have a clear shot at the street.
I could have gotten more red cars in a different January pic, but I couldn't have gotten a more Januaryish pic.

Is it something in the Ann Arbor air that leads its inhabitants to buy red cars? Shouldn't they be buying maize and blue autos?
:-)
I don't know why there is a cluster of red cars right here, but if you look at the cars downtown, there are way more white, silver, black ones than red.
That's what got me started taking the pics, way back in April -- it seemed odd that there were so many red ones.
:-)
Actually, thinking about it, these red cars are mostly older, "non-prime" vehicles. All are owned by families who have other cars, and the other cars are gray, black, green, blue....
It's the old ones that are on the street (and thus available for pics), and it happens that they are, in large part, red.....
Our aqua Taurus was on the street when our minivan was "the good car." Then we got the little blue car, gave away the Taurus, and the minivan was demoted.........
