On Wednesday I took a walk across a corner of campus.
(Angel Hall, with the new wing of the art museum)
I saw, but wasn't quick enough to capture, one of the major signs of spring in a college town -- a herd of high school students (and a few parents) on a college tour.
That nudged me to think about other signs of spring in Ann Arbor.
Flowers!
This is squill.
Flowers on a tree. (Maple?)
Mud.
Wind.
Inadequately dressed children.
It wasn't *cold* on the 1st, but it wasn't really quite shorts weather.........

Don't you just love going on an ordinarily mundane walk with a camera in your hands? For me it seems to really open my eyes to the beauty in even the simplest things!
I do, indeed.
I find that I notice so much more, now that I have been carrying a camera all the time. Small things, big things, far things, near things....
I *look* more, and, as you say, I *see* more!
