March 28, in the back yard

.

Fragment of a black walnut shell, maple seed, bleached leaf.

I like what "poster edges" does for leaves (and maple seeds). It really brings up the veinage.

A bit more color.

A lot of color........

Our little oak tree holds on to most of its leaves all winter. Those leaves are a lot less beat-up at this time of year than the ones which spent the last many months on the ground.

Poster edges.

More color.

Still more color.

Poster edged.

Warmer.

Hot!

Poster edged.

Warmer.

Hot, and cropped much tighter.

You will have noticed the dog hair in all of the above............

Because it *is* our yard, there are also plenty of these.

This one, though, is special. This is what they look like when they have spent years in the downspouts.

Full of compost................

Unraveled towel scrap, also on the fence.

Hey! Look!

Actual color that was not enhanced by Photoshop!

Crocuses have some seriously excellent pistils..........
