March 31 -- the end of this year's amaryllis flowers

They are gorgeous, but they don't last very long.

I hope I will go get myself a few amaryllis bulbs, in December when they are ubiquitous in stores (and on sale!).







I don't remember it doing this before. That red is very dramatic on the green.
